In classes H120, H150, H180, D120 and D150 the combined age should be at least 120, 150 or 180 years. No minimum age limitation per leg applied.
EOC classification comprises classes H21E and D21E. The competition is also a World Ranking Event. Competitors who are among the 50 best (H21) or the 40 best (D21) in the Finnish final ranking in 2009 are eligible.
The coaching leadership of the Finnish Orienteering Federation and IOF (the event advisor of the WRE) can also, under consideration, allow other Finnish and foreign competitors, who have entered in H/D21E classes, to take part in the competition. Maximum of 50 runners in H21E and 40 in D21E are allowed to participate. Both classes comprise elite classes in which 15 competitors can be selected (Finnish final ranking 2009 and World ranking ID) to the last starting group of their classes.

Entries
The deadline for entries is Friday 16th April 2010 at 24.00 (EET). Please, use primarily the online entry service available on the competition’s homepage at address www.rastilukko.fi/finnspring2010. Postal entries should be sent to address: Teemu Salonen, Naulankatu 9 B, FI-26100 Rauma, Finland.
Punching system
EMIT system will be used. The number of the EMIT card must be given in the entry. A rental EMIT card is available at the Information Desk at a charge of 4 € per day.
Order of runners
When using registered identification, the teams must hand in the order of their runners in the relay on Saturday 24th April 2010 by 19.00 (EET) at the latest. Alternatively they can hand in the order on Saturday by 18.00 (EET) on a form available at the Information Desk at the event centre.
Late entries
Late entries for both the individual competition and the relays to be notified by Wednesday 21st April 2010 during 18.00-20.00 (EET), primarily via the FinnSpring entry service or by phone to Teemu Salonen, tel. +358 500 790 628. Please note that the fee increases by 50 % for late entries.

Venue
The event centre is at Sepäntie 3, Lappi in the municipality of Rauma, Finland.
Guidance to the event centre
Guidance is available on Saturday at 09.00 (EET) from the main road 12 (Huittinen - Rauma) and from the road 2070 (Hinnerjoki). The estimated time from both of these junctions to the event centre is about five minutes. Additional guidance is signed from the main road 8 (Turku –Pori).
The first start
The first start on Saturday is at 12.00 (EET). The distance to the start is 1200-2900 metres. The relays will be started progressively on Sunday first starts being at 10.30 (EET).
Starting times
Starting times will be released Wednesday 21st April 2010 at www.rastilukko.fi/finnspring2010.
Maps
Individual: Updated 04/10, map toscale of 1:15 000 in elite and some A-series, the other series to scale of 10:000, with contour interval of 5 m is available in size A4. The maps to scale of 1:15 000 and a part of 1:10 000 are offset printed, all the rest will be laser printed.
Relays: Updated 04/10, to scale of 1:10 000, with contour interval 2.5 metres, size A4-A3.
Maps will be waterproof protected.
Terrain
The terrains in the individual and relay courses differ totally from each other. The terrain is easily passable where the top orienteerers go under the speed of 5 minutes per kilometre in several places. However, the fast and less detailed open cliff tops change rapidly to more detailed hillside areas. In the individual course, in the middle of an open cliff top a lonely craggy slope of spruce rises that differs completely from the surroundings.
Facilities in the event centre
A restaurant, a cafeteria and shops are located in the event centre.
Childcare is provided by the 4H Federation for a charge of 3 € per day, including lemonade. The 3€ fee/child entitles also participation in a string-course called “Rasti-Ralli” near the event centre.
Fitness courses
Both on Saturday and Sunday courses of 3.5 and 7 kilometres are available. The fee is 8€ (over 16 years) and 4€ (under 16 years).
Clothes changing and washing-up
To be arranged in field conditions with warm water available.
Parking
Free parking is provided near the event centre on streets and yards.
